DESCRIPTION:Workshop Information\n\n\n\n\nThe Clay Lady’s Watercolors on Clay with Kim Lane\nWhen: Saturday\, August 1 from 9:00-12:00\nWhere: Studio B on The Clay Lady’s Campus\nPrice: $65 \nWorkshop Description: Increase your skills to practice in your studio or your class! \nWatercolors and Under glazing every which way! \nSpend a few hours learning the ins and outs of creating gorgeous\, free flowing painted color surfaces on your vessels. Kim has been experimenting and learning about these versatile materials for two years now and she’ll share her tips and techniques. The workshop will include a step-by-step demonstration\, discussion about materials and equipment\, order of operations and the pitfalls to avoid. Students will need to supply a few light clay\, or slip covered bisque fired pieces of their own to decorate. If you have a design or theme you’ve been itching to try\, bring it along for inspiration.If not\, Kim will have plenty of examples to share. \nAll other supplies will be included in the workshop. \nStudents can expect to have something to glaze fire at completion. (Glaze fire not included) \n\nWorkshop Type: This is a hands-on\, skills building workshop. \nLevel of Experience: Some experience with clay required. \nAge: Adults only\, 16 and up \n\n\nCancellation Policy:  \nFull refund -> cancel 72 hours before the workshop\nNo refund -> cancel after 72 hours before the workshop \nAdditional Information: Your registration will be processed via Mid-South Ceramics (the supply store on The Clay Lady’s Campus).
