DESCRIPTION: Workshop Information\n\n\n\n\nThe Clay Lady’s Watercolors on Clay with Kim Lane\nSaturday\, February 21 from 9:00-12:00\non The Clay Lady’s Campus in Studio B\n$65 per person \nWorkshop Description: Increase your skills to practice in your studio or your class! \nWatercolors and Under glazing every which way! \nSpend a few hours learning the ins and outs of creating gorgeous\, free flowing painted color surfaces on your vessels. Kim has been experimenting and learning about these versatile materials for two years now and she’ll share her tips and techniques. The workshop will include a step-by-step demonstration\, discussion about materials and equipment\, order of operations and the pitfalls to avoid. Students will need to supply a few light clay\, or slip covered bisque fired pieces of their own to decorate. If you have a design or theme you’ve been itching to try\, bring it along for inspiration.If not\, Kim will have plenty of examples to share. \nAll other supplies will be included in the workshop. \nStudents can expect to have something to glaze fire at completion. (Glaze fire not included) \nExperience and Age Level: Skills Building – some experience required.
