About Your Instructor

Valerie Clark

During Class: We experiment a lot and understand that learning means making pots that flop sometimes, and that’s okay. Every experience is a chance to learn more about the material and about ourselves.
Did You Know:  I have an endless list of hobbies and interests including baking, painting, drawing, sewing, crocheting, felting, reading, and hiking as long as it isn’t too intense. I love to learn new skills and then practice them with others.
As An Artist: I have been making pots for 7 years. One of the best things about clay is that there’s endless knowledge to learn and limitless forms you can create. My love of tea, cooking, and gatherings influence the forms that I create.
